What does nature teach us about being human?
About our connection to all things?

These are questions that constantly pull me back into the ‘garden’ to seek understanding.

In response, I paint.

I see my flowers not as decorative, but devotional. As containers for my inner life. My practice is an ongoing conversation between myself and my subjects, about womanhood, mortality and sentimentality.
